Dr. Osvaldo A. Rodriguez, also known as "Dr. Ozzy", graduated from NJIT in 1995 with a Bachelors's degree in Engineering Science. He then continued his education at New York Chiropractic College. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1998 after completing the accelerated program. He graduated Magna Cum Laude after completing the 5-year program in just over three years.
Dr. Ozzy's specialty is in the field of sports medicine. Dr. Ozzy is a diplomate in chiropractic sports medicine. He has assisted at multiple sporting events and has been the team doctor for gymnastics and roller derby teams. He volunteered for the YMCA's girl's gymnastics team as their team chiropractor for over seven years. Working with the team has enabled Dr. Ozzy to gain field experience with various types of musculoskeletal injuries.
Dr. Ozzy has also done a 2-week rotation at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he worked with athletes of different sports. Dr. Ozzy has completed a course in SFMA 1 training, as well.
